The Founder

»»——————✞——————««
Availability: Unplayable
Malik O’Doyle, the founder of the accurately labeled O’Doyle Institute is the eldest resident known to take place within the grounds of the hospital. An ancient and a supposedly omniscient “god”, he stands at an impossible height and ever shifting pattern and scale of antlers- he seems entirely composed of bones, as well as eyes and mouths that appear scattered across the black sludge that moves his body from beneath his skull and well steamed suit. Aside from the eyeball and mouth placed perfectly to appear as a classic bow-tie.
Do not be fooled by his intimidating and cold demeanor; Sir Malik is quite the gentleman, and reserves his patience and compassion towards his life’s mission of improving the mental and physical wellness of all creatures- both resident and wanderer alike. Malik achieves this by bringing the conservative weirdness and liberal normality into a solid groundwork of a Hospital, a health center, a school, a community, a home. Regardless of your reason for stay, Malik knows.
And who knows. You may have the chance to meet the man during your stay.
»»——————✞——————««
Malik isn't often active around the Institute- at least, not in any obvious way. It’s quite a rare sight to see him speak in a public chatroom or personally appear for an issue occurring. Unless urgent or for business, Malik lets his staff and patients take the front seat, even if it means getting themselves into quite a pickle before he eventually intervenes.
However, it is heard for him to personally take certain people under his arm and appear in dreams, 1 on 1 meetings, giving advice or interjecting himself at random. There’s those convinced he does this sometimes for his amusement as he’s self aware of how people view him and his presence when he actually show up. For all its worth, he has a personality, he has hobbies, he likes to have fun! Maybe even a bit dramatic at times. But that's hard when people theorize Malik himself IS Krom. But whoever he is, he seems invested in both things strange as well as “average”.
No one even knows where he came from! And even if they did, who are they to give such private information? That's a Hippa violation.
He also has a daughter named Holly! A stand up father to be sure.

Guardians

»»——————✞——————««
Availability: Ask to Play
Doing the most important and vital work to the hospital, Guardians oversee both the various departments as well as incredibly crucial elements of the hospital where, without them, it simply would not function as well. Guardians will work both in and outside the hospital, with some going out into The Nowhere regularly for various reasons, such as transporting Residents or retrieving a new Wanderer.
Guardians are incredibly powerful in both ability as well as influence, but are also some of the most responsible in the entire hospital working directly under the Founder, and for this, they have gained the admiration and respect of many of the staff members, who would not be here without them.
Guardians are the backbone of the hospital, and it would be a much different place without them.
